Abstract: In the title compound, [Cu(C₁₉H₂₀N₂O₄)(H₂O)]·C₂H₃N, the Cu^II ion is coordinated by two N and two O atoms from the tetradentate Schiff base ligand, which contains a propylene fragment disordered over two conformations in a 0.64 (1):0.36 (1) ratio, and one O atom from the water molecule in a distorted square-pyramidal geometry. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into chains along the a axis.
