S](triphenylphosphine-
P)gold(I)Abstract: The title compound, [Au(C10H12NOS)(C18H15P)], features a linear geometry for the Au atom defined by the S and P donor atoms. A small deviation from the ideal geometry is noted and is ascribed to an intramolecular Au
O contact [2.936 (4) Å]. Inversion dimers are formed in the crystal structure mediated by C-H
interactions between centrosymmetrically related o-tolyl residues [C
Cg = 3.532 (6) Å].
