Abstract: The title compound, [Au(C₉H₉ClNOS)(C₁₈H₁₅P)], features a linear S,P-donor set with a small deviation from the ideal linear geometry due to the proximity of the methoxy O atom to Au [AuO = 2.986 (4) Å].
