trans-Bis(4,6-dimethylpyrimidine-2-thiolato-²N,S)bis(thiourea-S)nickel(II)

Abstract: In the title complex, [Ni(C₆H₇N₂S)₂(CH₄N₂S)₂], the central Ni atom (located on a centre of inversion) is six-coordinated by two monoanionic N,S-chelating 4,6-dimethylpyrimidine-2-thiolate ligands and two trans S-coordinating thiourea groups. The trans-N₂S₄ donor set defines a distorted octahedral geometry.
