Tetrakis(2-aminopyrazine-N⁴)dichloridocobalt(II)

Abstract: The Co^II atom in the title complex, [CoCl₂(C₄H₅N₃)₄], exists in an all-trans Cl₂N₄Co octahedral geometry. The Co^II atom lies on a special position of 2 site symmetry. Adjacent molecules are linked by N-HN and N-HCl hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network.
