1-(1-Benzofuran-2-yl)-3-(4-chlorophenyl)prop-2-en-1-one

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₇H₁₁ClO₂, the benzofuran ring system is almost planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.011 Å) and forms a dihedral angle of 10.53 (6)° with the chlorophenyl ring. No significant intermolecular interactions are observed.
