2O,O')[1-phenyl-3-(2-pyridylmethylimino)but-1-en-1-olato-
3N,N',O]cobalt(III)Abstract: In the title complex, [Co(C16H15N2O)(C10H9O2)(N3)], the CoII atom adopts an octahedral coordination geometry by a tridentate Schiff base, a bidentate benzoylacetonate and an azide ligand. The imine N atom of the tridentate ligand is trans to the benzoyl O atom of the bidentate ligand and the azide ligand is trans to the acetyl O atom of the bidentate ligand. Non-classical intramolecular Caryl-H
O hydrogen bonds are present in the structure.
