Diethyl 2-[(N-benzyl-N-methylamino)(phenyl)methyl]propanedioate

Abstract: In the title compound, C₂₂H₂₇NO₄, the mean planes of the two benzene rings form a dihedral angle of 73.54 (13)°. One of the methyl groups is disordered over two sites, with site occupation factors of 0.47 (15) and 0.53 (15). The crystal packing is controlled by van der Waals forces and a possible C-HO interaction, forming a chain running parallel to the a axis.
