Abstract: In the title compound, [ZnCl2(C6H7N)2], the ZnII ion (site symmetry 2) adopts a near-regular tetrahedral ZnN2Cl2 coordination geometry. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N-H
Cl hydrogen bonds, generating (100) sheets containing R22(8) loops.
