-4-(2-pyridyl)pyrimidine-2-sulfonato]] monohydrate]Abstract: In the title compound, {[Ag(C9H6N3O3S)]·H2O}n, the AgI atom is coordinated by three N atoms and two sulfonate O atoms from two different 4-(2-pyridyl)pyrimidine-2-sulfonate ligands. The ligand bridges two AgI atoms, forming a polymeric zigzag chain propagating parallel to [001]. The uncoordinated water molecule is involved in hydrogen bonds with sulfonate O atoms.
