Abstract: The title compound, C18H23NO3, the adamantane derivative of norcantharidin, which is itself derived from cantharidin, crystallized with three independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. In the crystal, molecules are linked by intermolecular C-H
O interactions, leading to the formation of a supramolecular two-dimensional network.
