[2-(3,5-Dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl-N²)-1,10-phenanthroline-²N,N']bis(nitrito-²O,O')cadmium(II)

Abstract: In the title complex, [Cd(NO₂)₂(C₁₇H₁₄N₄)], the Cd^II ion assumes a distorted monocapped octahedral coordination geometry defined by an N₃O₄ donor set. The crystal structure is stabilized by - stacking interactions [shortest centroid-centroid distance = 3.5537 (18) Å].
