Abstract: In the title complex, (C10H9N2)[Pr(C6H2N2O4)2(H2O)5], the Pr atom is nine-coordinated by nine O atoms from two pyridazine-4,5-dicarboxylate anions and five water molecules. It is noteworthy that there is a protonated bipyridine molecule in the structure. Intermolecular O-H
O, O-H
N and N-H
N hydrogen bonds are present, resulting in a three-dimensional network.
