2-{[(E)-1,3-Benzodioxol-5-yl]methylideneamino}benzoic acid

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₅H₁₁NO₄, the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 23.8 (2)° and an intramolecular O-HN hydrogen bond generates an S(6) ring. In the crystal, C-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into a three-dimensional network.
