Abstract: The title compound, C14H15ClN2O, contains an eight-membered 5,5-fused bicycle with two substituents. The dihedral angle between the nearly planar eight-membered ring [maximum deviation = 0.033 (2) Å] and the benzene ring is 25.0 (1)°. In the crystal structure, molecules are stacked in columns along the b axis and C-H
interactions are observed between the columns.
