Abstract: In the title complex, [Ni(C₁₁H₁₆N₃O)]Cl·2H₂O, the Ni^II ion is coordinated within a distorted square-planar environment. In the crystal, intermolecular N-HCl, N-HO, O-HO, O-HCl and weak C-HO hydrogen bonds link the components into a two-dimensional network parallel to (001).
