Abstract: In the title compound, [Ni(C₆H₉N₄S₂)Cl], the Ni atom is in a slightly distorted square-planar environment coordinated by a Cl atom and a deprotonated thiosemicarbazone ligand via its thiazoline N, azomethine N and thiolate S atoms. Short intermolecular N-HCl and C-HS contacts are present in the crystal structure.
