(4-Chlorobenzoato)tris(2-methyl-2-phenylpropyl)tin(IV)

Abstract: The title compound, [Sn(C₁₀H₁₃)₃(C₇H₄ClO₂)], crystallized with two independent molecules per asymmetric unit. In each molecule, the Sn^IV atom is four-coordinate and possesses a distorted tetrahedral geometry. One of the phenyl rings of one molecule is equally disordered over two positions.
