Cover illustration: In [In(CH3)2(C12H24O6)](CF3O3S), the indium(III) cation adopts an unusual distorted hexagonal-bipyramidal coordination geometry arising from six In-O bonds to oxygen atoms of the crown ether and two In-CH3 links with an almost linear C-In-C bond angle. The crystal packing features weak C-HO interactions. See Cooper & Macdonald [Acta Cryst. (2011). E67, m233-m234].
