Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C13H9ClN2O5S, the N-H bond is trans to the C=O bond (H-N-C-O torsion angle = 158.4°). The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 87.8 (1)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked into chains along the b axis via N-H
O hydrogen bonds.
