Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C15H13N3O4, adopts an E configuration with respect to the C=N bond. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 6.0 (3)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked through intermolecular N-H
O hydrogen bonds to form chains along the c axis.
