Abstract: In the title compound, C15H12O2, the dihedral angle between the aromatic ring systems is 16.67 (6)°. The methyl C atom is almost coplanar with its attached benzene ring [displacement = 0.020 (2) Å]. In the crystal, the molecules are connected by weak C-H
O bonds and face-to-edge C-H
interactions between the 2-methoxyphenyl rings.
