Abstract: In the title compound, C16H17Cl3N3O2P, the P-N bonds in the P(O)[NH(2-CH3)C6H4]2 unit [1.623 (4) and 1.637 (3) Å] are shorter than the P-N bond in the C(O)NHP(O) fragment [1.704 (3) Å]. The phosphoryl and carbonyl groups are anti with respect to each other and the P atom has a distorted tetrahedral configuration. In the crystal, adjacent molecules are linked via N-H
O(P) and N-H
O(C) hydrogen bonds into an extended chain parallel to [101].
