5,6-Dimethyl-1,2,4-triazin-3-amine

Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C₅H₈N₄, adjacent molecules are connected through N-HN hydrogen bonds, resulting in a zigzag chain along [100]. The amino groups and heterocyclic N atoms are involved in further N-HN hydrogen bonds, forming R₂²(8) motifs.
