(Z)-2-Benzylidenebenzo[d]thiazolo[3,2-a]imidazol-3(2H)-one

Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₁₆H₁₀N₂OS, is approximately planar, the dihedral angle between the 1,3-benzothiazolo[3,2-a]imidazol-3(2H)-one and the benzylidene moieties being 4.10 (8)°. A weak intramolecular C-HS interaction generates an S(6) ring. No intermolecular hydrogen bonds are observed in the crystal structure.
