2-(4-Bromophenyl)-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)acetamide

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₆H₁₆BrNO, the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 69.8 (2)°. In the crystal, N-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into C(4) chains propagating in [100]. Adjacent molecules in the chains are also linked by C-HO interactions which, along with the N-HO hydrogen bonds, generate R₂¹(6) loops.
