Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₄H₉N₃O₈, the benzene rings form a dihedral angle of 69.02 (5)°. The central ester group is rotated by 25.86 (9)° relative to the p-tolyl group. In the crystal, the molecules are linked by C-HO interactions into helical chains along [010].
