(1-Acetylthiourea-S)bromidobis(triphenylphosphane-P)silver(I)

Abstract: In the title complex, [AgBr(C₃H₆N₂OS)(C₁₈H₁₅P)₂], the Ag^I ion is in a distorted tetrahedral geometry coordinated by two P atoms from two triphenylphosphane ligands, one S atom of an acetylthiourea ligand and one bromide ligand. There are intramolecular N-HBr and N-HO hydrogen bonds present. In the crystal, pairs of N-HS hydrogen bonds involving thiourea groups form inversion dimers. In addition, moleclues pack to give sixfold phenyl embraces with an intermolecular PP distance of 6.4586 (17) Å.
