Abstract: In the title compound, [Pd₂(C₁₂H₉)₂I₂(C₁₈H₁₅P)₂], the dimeric complex molecule lies about an inversion center. The PdIPd bridges are slightly asymmetric, with Pd-I distances of 2.6709 (6) and 2.7486 (7) Å. The metal atom has a slightly puckered square-planar CI₂P environment, the largest deviation from the least-squares plane being 0.143 (8) Å.
