Chlorido{N-[2-(diphenylphosphanyl)benzylidene]-2,6-diisopropylaniline-P}gold(I) chloroform 0.25-solvate

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [AuCl(C₃₁H₃₂NP)]·0.25CHCl₃, contains two independent complex molecules and half a chloroform solvent molecule, which is disordered across an inversion center. The Au^I ions are each coordinated in a slightly distorted linear environment, with P-Au-Cl angles of 177.20 (4) and 178.54 (4)°.
