1-(2-Chlorobenzoyl)-3-(3-methoxyphenyl)thiourea

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₅H₁₃ClN₂O₂S, exists in the solid state in its thione form with typical thiourea C-S and C-O bonds lengths as well as shortened C-N bonds. An intramolecular N-HO hydrogen bond stabilizes the molecular conformation. In the crystal, N-HS hydrogen bonds link the molecules into centrosymmetric dimers.
