Methyl 2-bromo-3-(4-chlorobenzenesulfonamido)benzoate

Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C₁₄H₁₁BrClNO₄S, the molecules form inversion dimers with R₂²(8) motifs through pairs of N-HO hydrogen bonds. The benzene rings are not coplanar and subtend a dihedral angle of 66.27 (8)°. The carbomethoxy group makes a dihedral angle of 75.1 (1)° with the ring to which it is attached.
