Abstract: The title compound, C21H26N4S, was synthesized by the condensation reaction of 4-isopropylbenzaldehyde with thiocarbohydrazide in ethanol. The planes of the two benzene rings in the molecule are inclined at 22.6 (1)°. In the crystal, pairs of intermolecular N-HS hydrogen bonds link the molecules into inversion dimers.
