Abstract: In the title compound, C10H10Cl2N2OS, the molecule adopts a trans-cis conformation with respect to the position of the carbonyl group and the chlorophenyl groups relative to the thiono group across the C-N bonds. The molecule is stabilized by an N-HO hydrogen bond. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N-HS and C-HO hydrogen bonds, forming zigzag chains along the b-axis direction. C-H interactions are also present.
