Images of different lysozyme crystals that became morphologically unstable, obtained at 298.0 (5) K. The relative humidity of (a), (b), (d) and (e) was 58 (5)%; the relative humidity of (c) was 41 (5)% and the relative humidity of (f) was 89 (5)%. The growth conditions of (a) and (e) correspond to No. 1 in Table 1[link]; the growth conditions of (f) correspond to No. 2 in Table 1[link]; the growth conditions of (b), (c) and (d) correspond to No. 4 in Table 1[link]. (d) and (e) were grown using the PDMS–PDMS microfluidic device, while the other crystals were grown using the PDMS–glass microfluidic device.
