QPA results as a function of internal standard, nature of the mortar and grinding time. Black circles, white circles, black triangles, white triangles and black squares represent synthetic mixture with NIST SRM 676a (α-Al2O3), NIST SRM 674a (ZnO), NIST SRM 674 (TiO2), NIST SRM 674a (α-Cr2O3) and Aldrich annealed α-Al2O3, respectively. Results calculated by the RIR–Rietveld method are plotted in the upper half (left side for zirconia mortar and right side for agate mortar), whilst results calculated with traditional RIR are plotted in the lower half (left side for zirconia mortar and right side for agate mortar).
