XPS spectra of the surfaces of the OCP and the control. (a) Wide-scan survey spectrum for all elements. (b), (c) Peak fit of the C(1s) XPS spectra of the surfaces of the OCPs and control plates. The results showed that the surfaces were chemically comparable, there were no residues left on the OCP and a new functional group (hydroxyl) was present on the surfaces of the OCPs compared with the control plates.
