software descriptions in Crystallography Journals Online
Crystallographic software is presented in the Journal of Applied Crystallography in two main ways:
- In the Computer Programs section, programs are presented within standard fully refereed papers. See Notes for Authors for guidelines on the
submission of Computer Programs.
-
Computer Program Abstracts are shorter papers with a standard format that provide a rapid means of communicating up-to-date information concerning both new programs or systems and
significant updates to existing ones. See Notes for Authors and Guidelines for Computer Program
Abstracts for general and specific guidelines on the submission of Computer Program Abstracts.
Software may also be presented as part of a normal Research Paper or in one of the CIF Applications papers that deal with Crystallographic
Information Files (CIFs).
The following are complete lists of software presented and/or reviewed in the Journal of Applied Crystallography.
