XBI image reconstruction. First, the input raw image undergoes an optional pre-processing step. Then, the image blur introduced by the scattering foil, the aperture and the detector's PSF is removed by Lucy-Richardson deconvolution with the calculated XBI impulse response. At the final step, geometrical distortions owing to the XBI magnification and the scattering foil tilt are removed by coordinate conversion from the image plane to the beam cross-sectional plane.  [article HTML]
