High-resolution coronal T2*-weighted MR images of the rat brain. Subsequent high-resolution axial slices (resolution 60 µm × 60 µm × 60 µm) showing the main bulk of the tumour in the right hemisphere as a dark void caused by the GNPs and the small haemorrhages typical for a high grade glioma. A coronal slice of the CT scout image was overlaid with a corresponding MRI slice.
