C(7) chains connecting molecules in a head-to-tail mode: (a) amide⋯amide chain (invariably links screw-axis related molecules) observed in HN12; (b) an analogous amide⋯carboxyl chain present in HOH1. The chain is accompanied by OH⋯O=C, C(6) chain, which results in the binary pattern R₂²(9); (c) carboxyl⋯amide chain (HOH2), joining molecules related by a unit-cell translation of approximately 7.2 Å, analogous to carboxyl⋯carboxyl chains present in the parent (R,R)-tartaric acid and in (R,R)-hydrogentartrates.
