If a hydroxyl group is in one of the less probable positions it might form an O—H⋯O bond with a hydroxyl group in either of the more probable positions, although the distances and angles (see text) suggest that a bond to an O atom on the same `side' of the stack (as in the right-hand side of the drawing) is more probable. The H atoms have been omitted from the drawing for clarity. |
