Pressure evolution in the DAC depending on relaxation time. The datapoints are measured by the ruby fluorescence method with corresponding error bars. The red line shows a linear fit, i.e. an exponential approach to the saturation value, which allows a very reliable estimation of the actual pressure and its uncertainty in the DAC during the single-crystal X-ray diffraction experiment. This period is marked as the green region. This figure is in colour in the electronic version of this paper.
