Schematic representation of the circular magnetic ordering in CaMn7O12 (view of six unit cells along the modulation vector direction, i.e. the c-axis). The red and green arrows represent the magnetic moments of Mn3+ ions located in the Mn1 and Mn2 sublattices. The nearest neighbours (along c) in the Mn1 and Mn2 sublattices are distant by c/2 (see Table 7[link]). The blue arrows represent the magnetic moments of Mn4+ ions located in the Mn3 sublattice.
