Segregation of main cations (Pb, Sb, As) along mono-atomic ribbons (colored segments) in the structure of sterryite according to their x coordinate. Between green and red segments, cations are shifted approximately ± a/4 (about 2 Å). The correspondence with the projection planes of related archetypes PbS or SnS (Makovicky, 1985aBB16) are represented as ellipses (see Fig. 4[link]).
