Relation between Bonazzi's (primitive) cell and Kupčík's octuple cell, according to Bonazzi et al. (1987BB1). Lattice vectors aK, bK, cK, and aB, bB, cB, correspond to Kupčík's and Bonazzi's cell, respectively. For the sake of better understanding of Kupčík's cell, the z = ½ plane is indicated by dash–dot lines, and the nearest centering points with the same z are interconnected by dot lines. Besides the lattice nodes contained in both cells, the additional nodes ¼ [\overline {1\over 4}] ¼ and ½ [\overline {1\over 2}] 1 are also indicated. They correspond to points defined by vectors −bB and −2bB. They are connected by dot lines with nodes ¼ ¾ ¼ and ½ ½ 1.
