Structure of kermesite, OD layer L0, real (desymmetrized) structure, projection along the a vector of Kupčík's cell in the ball-and-stick representation. As in Fig. 4[link], all symmetry elements corresponding to λ-POs of the idealized model are indicated for illustration, although they are not obeyed by the real structure (with the exception of inversion centers). Two pairs of basal quadrangles of Sb3, Sb4 pyramids closer to and farther from the observer are highlighted by blue and red lines, respectively. Additional edges due to the corrugation of quadrangles are indicated by dot lines.
