Sequential neutron diffraction patterns measured from 226 to 298 K under high pressure. Temperatures are shown on the right-hand side. Corresponding sample pressures are unknown, except at 298 K, where the pressure is estimated to be 2.3 GPa from the EOS of coexisting ice VII (Fortes et al., 2012BB7). Neutron diffraction patterns were initially reduced in terms of time-of-flight and converted to d-spacing. Corresponding momentum transfer, Q, is also shown on the upper axis. Exposure times amounted to 25 min for measurements performed from 226 to 250 K, 5 min for 279 and 284 K, and 5.5 h for 298 K.
