Single crystal structure of FeCrO3 using the polyhedral representation (Boudias & Monceau, 1998BB5), showing the packing of Fe and Cr layers along the c axis. Three octahedra, represented in blue in the main figure, are displayed in the top–left inset. Two [CrO6] octahedra belonging to the same layer share one edge, while [CrO6] and [FeO6] octahedra in two neighboring layers are sharing one face. The Cr—O—Fe angle of 134.33 (5)° involved in magnetic interactions is shown. The bottom–left figure shows the shortest metal⋯metal distances in the crystal, in Å. O atoms have been omitted for clarity.
