Model of Sr3B2.78Si0.22O7.61 (x = 0.78) modulated structure (a) constructed from B2O5 (b) and B2SiO8 groups (c) in various orientations. According to the modulation parameters, these groups can be deformed in two ways (dashed lines). The length of the borosilicate groups can be longer, and the minimal fragment is shown similar to that in Ca3B2SiO8 (Véron et al., 2013BB31).
